Olle Andersson is a Swedish designer whose work bridges the clarity of Scandinavian modernism with the bold energy of postmodern design. Active from the 1970s onwards, Andersson brought a playful sensibility to lighting and interiors, often drawing inspiration from the Memphis movement while maintaining a distinctly Nordic sense of form and function.

Among his most celebrated collaborations was his work with Boréns of Borås, one of Sweden’s leading lighting manufacturers. Together, they produced a series of striking lights—most notably the Aurora, Halo There, and No-Neonlamps. These designs combined sculptural lines with vibrant colour and clever construction, and many were awarded the “Utmärkt Svensk Form” (Excellent Swedish Design) label during the 1980s.
